Sofitel at the Miami Airport

Anybody have any reviews of this hotel? I won it on Priceline for December 3rd, and I am kinda bummed! I was shooting for the Hilton.

 

Good, bad, ugly?????

We stayed there once. It was ok. It also is a condo. We were suppose to get there eailer but our flight wad delayed. We arrived very late and left in the morning. It had a nice lobby and pool. The staff did not speak good english and since we were not there long it did not matter. We have a nice view of the bay. Could not see the ships come in. If it is only for a night you will be fine. I would stay there again.

Are you sure you were at the Sofitel. It is no where near the bay. It is on the opposite side of the airport.

The hotel is lovely. The rooms are very nice and the service is excellent.

Everyone I encountered spoke english. The restaurant is a bit pricey but a good alternative is 94th AeroSquadron right down the street.

Not cheap but much less than the hotel.

You will have an enjoyable stay at this hotel. When are you staying and what was the bid that was accepted.

We are staying there December 3rd, post-cruise. I won it on Priceline for $80.00, and that was after at least 2 weeks of bidding. I started bidding at $60. Must be a busy weekend in Miami, because I was also trying for the Downtown Intercontinental. The Holiday Inn (Port) is also sold out that night. We are staying there (HI) Nov. 25th, pre-cruise.

 

Anyway, I am sure the Sofitel will be fine, especially for just one night. It was just not what I was shooting for when I placed the bid.
