pmetiv Posted March 9, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2013 We just booked a cruise going to Belize in May. We have done the Eastern Caribbean route a few times already. In the past they used to offer an excursion called "Raiders of the Lost Mayan Caves". I can still find old treads on the forum about it but nothing after 2012. When searching online I'm only finding old reviews about it and all the cruise lines have stopped offering it. I now regret not doing it on our last trip 2 yrs ago. :( Does it still exist? Did they change the name? Did something bad happen? Thanks for any info you have. Pierre

tydacey9192 Posted January 8, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 8, 2015 I know I am a little late, but I am searching for information on my next cruise and I stumbled on your post. I actually went on this excursion in 2011 on my NCL cruise. It was amazing. the only reason I could think that they would stop offering it is because the place where we had to hike to get to the caves and many poisonous trees. The guides said if you touched the trees you would get very sick and nothing would cure it. I am not sure if this is why they stopped it. They could have changed the name. This was one of my favorite excursions. If you can find it, please go on it.
