Sachem Mom Posted March 17, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2013 Just came across the link to purchase the Cruise Cash OBC...any pros/cons? I have been putting money aside weekly in a bank account that we dont touch for spending $$...this may be an option for me...if the money is deposited to an OBC and not used how do they refund it to you? Talex831 Posted March 17, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2013 With the cruise cash, they don't refund it. You use it or lose it. If you do decide to purchase some, be sure you'll use it all. There will be a crew around shortly telling you how foolish it is to buy cruise cash and that you should be hanging on to your money and not giving it to Carnival, blah, blah, blah. CB42 Posted March 17, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 17, 2013 I'd buy the Gift Cards, You can apply them to your OBC at guest services (Very Easy) and what ever you have left after the cruise stays on the card and you can use it the next time. http://www.carnivalgiftcards.com/FAQ.aspx
Hurricane Girl Posted March 17, 2013 #4 Share Posted March 17, 2013 If you go to Carnival's website it states: Cruise Cash is non-refundable and any unused credits will be forfeited. They also have bar and photo cash available and it too is non-refundable. IMO you are a lot better off doing it the way you are. ;)
