ozarkmama Posted March 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2013 Any other martial artists here? I train in Taekwondo (earned my black belt in Oct 2012) and Gumdo (Korean Sword Fighting) with my 24 year old daughter.
Hockeylovinmom Posted March 26, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2013 I'm interested in martial arts for fitness and flexibility but am an older lady (65). Im interested in your opinion. What would be a good "starter" for me? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

What would be a good "starter" for me? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD There are so many forms of martial arts, I am sure you can find one you like. I am 49, and took my first class at 45. I also have fibromyalgia so I have some physical limitations. Most instructors are really good at modifying things for me. Check out the schools in your area, most of them will offer a couple of free classes to let you try it. If there is an ATA school in your area, they are really good. Let me know what you find.
