carribean soul Posted March 24, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 24, 2013 I am booked on the Epic on an upcoming med cruise GTY balcony and was assigned 9025. From looking at the deck plan it appears this cabin has a larger balcony than most others. Can anyone confirm this?? thanks in advance

Only half of it is covered by the deck above, the half near the railing is exposed. Sorta the best of both worlds. Good grab for a GTY. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1523109

Cruzface Posted March 24, 2013 #4 Share Posted March 24, 2013 Be aware that the balcony below you on deck 8 is wide open. So you will see the people directly below you.
cayugashue Posted March 24, 2013 #5 Share Posted March 24, 2013 Be aware that the balcony below you on deck 8 is wide open. So you will see the people directly below you. I recently staying in 9027 and friends were in 9025. These 2 balconies did not look down on open balconies on deck 8. The balconies below us were "hull balconies". When lookin down, you have a clear view. The balcony is large, we had 2 charis, 2 loungers and a small table. Partially coverd, so we had shade/sun . Enjoyed this cabin, good location to stairs, and decks 5-7. Enjoy your cruise!
