Dining in New York

We are sailing into NY and staying @ The International Barclay can anyone suggest a fabulous restuarant around that area our preferences are steaks!

I'm assuming you are staying at the Intercontinental Barclay.

 

My opinion is that Sparks (210 E. 46th) serves among the best steaks in NYC. Their wine list is also superb.

Yojimbo took the words right out of my mouth....YES, I too vote for Spark's. It is excellent. As a matter of fact I had dinner there two weeks ago with my wife and two friends (all of us QE2 regulars !). It's right in the neighborhood you'll be staying in....from your hotel just go down Lexington Ave a couple of blocks, then left (or east) at 46th Street, and it will be on the right or south side of the street.

 

Be sure to make a reservation !

My vote is for any of the "Palm" restaurants. There's also Ruth's Chris, Ben Benson, Delmonico's, etc. Try reading reviews at http://newyorkmetro.com/restaurants/
