jgmpuma Posted April 1, 2013 #2 Share Posted April 1, 2013 I suggest a hotel in the Warehouse District. They are smaller and more user-friendly than the big hotels on Canal Street, and you get more space and amenities for your money. Rooms in the French Quarter tend to be smaller and more expensive. These hotels are fairly easy walking distance, or a short cab ride, to the French Quarter and most of the other attractions. There are lots of good places to eat nearby. You can find a map of the street car lines (St. Charles, Canal, Riverfront) here: www.norta.com
