Carnival legend 6/6 review

We went on the Legend for our honeymoon. Embarkation was a bit rough, and the people were not as helpful as we had hoped. once we got through the lines, it was a relief. We arrived around 11:50 and were on board by around 2:30.

Our steward David was in the hallway ready to greet us and immediately unlocked the mini bar and introduced himself. Overall he was fantastic, but slow refilling the Diet Coke in the fridge.

We ate at Truffles 5 nights. 3 of the five, my steak was overcooked. ordering it medium rare was ending up with a touch of pink. Jim was not impressed with the lobster tail, as it was overcooked as well. The soups and appetizers were consistently good.

The shows we saw were good. the bingo left alot to be desired. It seems like a rip off to pay 20 and only play one game.

the casino...Irina was a fantastic waitress. We tipped her well on the nights we won, and especially well on the last night because we won 6,000 at the dollar slots (the quick hit machines for 2 coins are hot the last night!!). We were rather disturbed that after tipping heavily, she began double charging jim for his drinks. When he confronted her (she was not bringing us the receipts to sign, only the copies to keep) she said that because of the extra alcohol she was told to charge twice. This is the same drink he has been drinking the entire cruise, and it ws 4.50 every other night except for the one we hit the jackpot on. when he got a pack of cigarettes from another waitress, she too double charged him.

The balcony was well worth it. It ws nice to be able to go outside each morning and sit.

San juan- Senor Frogs was fun. Be sure to buy a shot from the ladies that walk around with them.

St Thomas- find Godfrey and go with him for 20. Even though we got drenched in a down pour, we had a great time. Coki beach is beautiful. If you are looking for a quick buzz, order a pain killer from the beach bar.

Tortola- not too much time there, but the beach was nice, despite the short rainstorm.

Yo Richie...does he come with a mute button??

We had a great trip, and are planning on cruising again ASAP.
