Golden Balcony

Are any of the balconies on the Golden obstructed? I know the mini suites have little to no overhang but wondering about the obstructed question. We did a balcony grantee and doing the waiting wondering game till Sept. !

balcony rooms on emerald deck forward (all 8 or so) have a portion of the promenade a few feet below and just beyond them.

 

other balcony rooms that arent standard are rooms on the aft which have deeper balconies, but at the same time can feel "cave like" as there are some supports that stick out a bit.

 

finally, there last balcony's on baja deck are also larger but have a similar "cave effect". not as much as the aft balconies however.

 

given that over 1/3rd of the cabins on the ship are balconies, you have a low chance of getting one of those rooms.
