KruzNutty Posted June 16, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2005 Hi all. Sailing on the Zuiderdam this July. I like to snokel and would like to possibly take the Snorkel by Boat shore excursion on Half Moon Cay. If you have done this, will you please let me know what you thought of it? I'm just interested in knowing if a person really gets a chance to see some nice coral and beautiful fish. I've snorkeled in Cozumel and the Virgin Islands but never in the Bahamas or on this excursion on Half Moon Cay. I've sailed on the Zuiderdam before and I've been to Half Moon Cay so I know what both are like. Thanks for any advice or opinion. Happy Cruising everyone!! gophercruiser Posted June 16, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 16, 2005 We have done this a couple of times and it is not "Bonair" but is a very nice snorkel and is only 15 minutes by boat from the dock so you do not waste all your time in transit. artvlay Posted June 26, 2005 #3 Share Posted June 26, 2005 We have our own snorkel equipment, don't like to snorkel with groups. Is there an area near the HMC main to snorkel?
