Sunday docking in Marseilles and thinking of Cassis-best way for five to get there?

Our HA cruise docks in Marseilles Sunday, June 16. The five of us are thinking of a day trip to Cassis/Calanques. Anyone have ideas on the best way to get there? Sounds like there is a train but that a taxi to the port is hard to find (esp on a Sunday, I would think). Car rental? Hire a limo? If so, any recs on a limo service? Thanks so much for any/all advice!

We caught a taxi and asked him to pick us up at a specific time. It's about 15 miles. It worked well for us. Our driver didn't want payment until the return journey which reassured us that he would turn up to collect us. Cassis is lovely and the Calanques are a must from Cassis.

Thanks for the reply, David. That seems to make the most sense due to time and day of the week (Sunday) constraints. Do you happen to recall approx cost pp and travel time?
