I just posted my UW photos from Grand Cayman

If you are interested in seeing some of the underwater scene from my stop at Grand Cayman in March, here is the link to the photos.

I went with Neptunes divers and have the shirt to prove it. They are a cruiser friendly operator and I can easily recommend. They offer 2 dives from their boat and take a max of 8 divers. You can either follow the guide or dive with your buddy on your own and they aren't overly strict about your profile if you are diving your computer.

Any questions?

I used a Olympus C5050 in an Olympus underwater housing.

I also have an older Canon A20 with an underwater housing, but it is more of a "point and shoot" style of camera and I sort of out grew it.

There are housings available for many Olympus and Canon digital cameras.

Those are stunning! I just can't believe how beautiful the underwater life is in Grand Cayman. I was totally knocked out by it!

What site were you diving in Grand Cayman?

The first site was Dragons Hole and the second site was Tularo, also called J's reef. Both sites were west end. I had asked for a North wall dive and then stingray city, but the wind was blowing from the North pretty hard, so those sites weren't diveable. Most snorkel trips to stingray city were cancelled. I did talk to someone on our ship who did go. She said there was only 5 boats there when there would usually be 30. She said it was pretty rough, but worth going anyway.

hey Bruce, nice pix. Any chance you could email me a larger version of "cozumel beach club 2"? (the one with the blue umbrellas along the beach) I believe thats where we spent our afternoon and would just like a water shot for my collection.

I'd be happy to sent you the full sized image, but where is your email addy? Mine is in my profile. Contact me and I'll send it to you on one condition. Please tell me which beach it is so I can caption the image correctly.

Thanks, Bruce J.R.
