luvzcruzin Posted June 17, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 17, 2005 Is there anyone who has cruised to Hawaii in November and can tell me what the weather was like at that time of the year? We are considering a cruise the week of Thanksgiving this year, but want to know more about weather conditions and if we should try to go at a different time of the year. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
bug_dan Posted June 18, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2005 We cruised from Ensenada to Hawaii in Nov '03 and again in Nov '04. The first cruise the weather on the way over was mostly overcast and pretty cool. Seas were also pretty rough, in fact our stop in Hilo was cancelled because of rough water. No one out on deck for the first 3 days, but once we got closer to the Islands, weather became much warmer. Trip in '04 was the exact opposite, seas were smooth and weather was perfect about 70 to 80 degrees every day. We've also done the trip from Honolulu to Ensenada in Oct and the crossing was about the same as Nov '03. About the only constant was the weather around the Islands, temps in the 70's and 80's every day. Although temps don't vary much in Hawaii, November is the beginning of the rainy season and weather there can be a bit unsettled.

sherree Posted June 21, 2005 #4 Share Posted June 21, 2005 How would chartering a deep sea fishing boat be at the end of November- risky? Let me know your thoughts.
spleen93 Posted June 21, 2005 #5 Share Posted June 21, 2005 Risky in what way? It'll most likely be a lilttle bumpy. Otherwise, rain may interfere with the charter though most likely not. Spleen
