Spirit Cabin 6234?

We've just booked Cabin 6234 on the Spirit. I requested it specifically for the extra long balcony. However, upon closer inspection, I see the cabin is "turned sideways." I've never been in a cabin that is laid out this way. Can anybody tell me what this cabin is like, and what the layout is?

Jo-Ann, you might want to post this question here as "Wonderwoman just got back from the Legend and had the same type cabin on deck 8.

wow - that looks like a pretty great location and you get that nice long balcony...I say go for it. Price is right....

I don't want to alarm you but that maybe a handicapped room. If a handicpped person needs it, I think you will get bumped. I know that 6232 (next door) has the extra long balcony and is not a handicapped room (we are booked in that room on the Miracle). It is a room for four. One deck up is 7258 with the extended balcony whch is a room for two (non-handicapped). Just double check with your TA or PVP to make sure. Good luck!

6234 IS a handicapped room. THere is no sofa here either. Yes the balcony is super long. Event he cabin is bigger to accomadate a wheelchair. Friends of ours had this cabin and did not get bumped. A very nice location.

When you are on the balcony you will not be able to look down into the water as the lifeboats are obstructing your vision there.
