Smoking????

I've heard there's smoking onboard MSC ships...is that true? If so do they have cabins and areas that are designated non-smoking as I wouldn't want to be around heavy smoke-filled areas! Heavy smoke onboard would be a deal-breaker for me.

I was just on the Fantasia and there are smoking sections.

 

The most obvious is the casino. If you don't like smoke, stay away from the casino. The Fantasia had a smoking section on the main deck by the pool, Transatlantico Bar, and cigar lounge which were away from food service areas.

Just got off the Poesia. Smoking in the casino and a few other specified places. It is very controlled and we were not affected at all.:)

Yes there is smoking and more (in my opinion) than on other lines, but it did not affect me at all and I am a non-smoker... The reason I noticed was my son was pointing it out.. It really was not a big deal!:)
