JessToni Posted May 2, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 2, 2013 We are sailing out on the Breeze this Sunday. I just printed all our documents and noticed it said embarkation from 1-3pm. I have sailed on carnival before (but it has been a few years) and always remember getting on the ship earlier. We do not have platinum status yet, but definitely remember being on much earlier than 1pm. Does anyone know if this is adhered to? or is this just something they say, but they often let people on earlier? I have two small children with traveling with us so I don't want to get there too early if we will just be sitting around for hours. Thanks so much! okgirl Posted May 2, 2013 #3 Share Posted May 2, 2013 They have been sending emails and trying to get the crowd spread out during the day. Most people just ignore it and go when they want to or always have. I am Platinum and I still get the email but I'm usually at the pier by 10:30 and on the ship by 11:30. They consider it your day one and so do I, so I'm not going to give them 3 hours of the 1st day of my cruise.
