Disney Dream April 28th return to Nassau

We were on the April 28th sailing on the Dream and on Pirate Night after the fireworks the ship made an unscheduled stop around 2:30 am in Nassau. We were woke up by the aft thrusters as our cabin was aft. We stayed about thirty minutes and then went back out to sea. Wondering if anybody knows the reason for the extra stop.

The Captain announced that the ship returned to Nassau for a medical emergency. The passenger was scheduled for surgery in Nassau on Wednesday. That's all I know.

I had heard the same announcement about the medical emergency.

i was on that sailing also. but didn't notice or hear about it.

I was on this sailing as well. I heard the lady got hit in the stomach by a firework.
