Owners Suites on the Wind

On another thread, a CC member mentioned a report that stateroom #1100 on the Dream suffers from an intrusive noise from a pool motor of some sort. I'm planning a cruise on the Wind in the Fall, probably in the Owners Suite category on deck 11, and assume that any feature of the Dream will be duplicated on the Wind, its sister ship. I phoned NCL to inquire about the date I'm considering in October, and was told that almost all of the 11th deck staterooms are already booked on the starboard (right) side, yet almost all staterooms on the port (left) side are still available. So, in addition to the question of whether #1100 has a problem with noise, I'm now wondering why there seems to be such an apparent preference for being on the starboard side of the Wind on deck 11. Anyone have any guesses?

My family was in suite 1106 on the NCL Wind in April. We had no noise and our cabin was by a set of steps that went out to the deck where there was always entertainment and the jacuzzis were.

Our views were always great and I don't think it would have made a difference what side the suite was on, we had a great time!
