Hi Everyone
I am looking for ideas. Places, suggestions, any possible excursions you can recommend for me and my families future cruise on the Carnival Glory. I have looked on carnival’s website and the tours did not seem to fit in with all family members needs.
I cannot snorkel I get panic attacks and another family member cannot swim. So snorkel excursions are pretty much redundant for our lil group.
We have an elderly family member who is not so good at walking long distances, their feet swell up due to medication they take, although they can do small amounts of walking permitted there are stops, they are after all 73 :)
So what would you all suggest for excursions? Any companies you recommend or have done reviews on please share :) we will be cruising in November.

Check to see if the Trolly Roger is still running. It is a little tour company bus that takes people through the town, a little flea market, into South Sound (10 minute stop at Smith Cove) lovely little beach - good photo op - lots of couples get married there and on Sundays people are baptised there ;)

If this isn't for you the turtle farm is pretty good but beware there can be some walking but there are lots of places to sit down.

If you have children there is a waterslide at Margarittaville and it is only a block or so from the pier.

If everyone is up for it they have a Pirate Ship (Jolly Roger) lots of fun.

Also there is the tortuga rum cake factory - not sure about the tour but the rum cakes are delicious.

If swimming and walking are your only concern with the water, don't be afraid of the stingray city excursions. The water is only waist to chest deep depending on the tide. No walking, bus drops you right at the dock for whatever boat you're taking out to the sand bar.

Otherwise, I'd just make it a beach day.
