sandi1967 Posted May 22, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 22, 2013 Hi Would anyone know how to get to Atlantis? Can we take a bus there? Going in the dolphin encounter next month. Atlantis said it would be about $30 each way which seemed high. Thanks Sandi

Unless you have a big group, it shouldn't be $30. There are no buses allowed on Paradise Island. Atlantis mgmt. won't allow it.
KPookey Posted May 22, 2013 #3 Share Posted May 22, 2013 From the Nassau pier, we took a water taxi to Atlantis. We toured on our own. The water taxi is $4/per person each way. It is slow and goes every half hour, also note once off the taxi you must walk a ways to Atlantis. I would recommend a taxi drop you off right in front of the place, cant imagine its much more than $8 per person round trip either.
sandi1967 Posted May 22, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted May 22, 2013 Thank you for the replies:). Was not sure if we had to take a water taxi. We get to port at 8am and dolphin swim at 9:30. Hoping we have enough time. Thank you Sandi
CruizeVirgin Posted May 22, 2013 #5 Share Posted May 22, 2013 I will be in Nassau in Sept and our ship is in port from 7am until midnight. I had wanted to have an early dinner on the ship then head back to Atlantis. I know that almost all the shops in the port area and downtown close about 5pm. Would getting a taxi over to Atlantis about 7pm be an issue as well as getting back. It seemed from my time there before that there is not much going on after 6pm.
