hi, just to let you know that I got an email today and we won't be going to Portimao but to Cadiz (for Seville and Jerez), don't know if any of you got this but I'm not sure what's better!

Apparently Portimao is not getting good reviews?

I just had the same email but noticed a few days ago we were off to Cadiz. The reviews are good and the port next to the town. I do not mind the change as have not visited either place before. Hope that not to many other changes happen as I've plotted and planned now already.

We've not had an email but we booked through a travel agent. Would have thought they would have let us know. Good job Jim told us a few days ago!

We went to both destinations on the Springtime Splendours. I liked both. Praia de Rocha (from Portamao) was very nice and would like to go back for a holiday - fabulous beach, and Cadiz was also lovely, although it was cold when we were there.

 

Obviously, Cadiz is better though, as you can dock there and the tendering at Portamao was a bit of a nightmare! :eek:
