Can You Carry on a 33.8 oz Mixer?

Will they allow a 33.8 oz sour mix in a carry on? I know small quantities of non-alcoholic beverages are allowed but I think the size limit is a 20 oz bottle. However, I am not able to find any smaller sizes of mixer. Anyone have recent experience with this?

Technically no, but you may get lucky. I got through with my large Bloody Mary mixer in Miami this past April.

I was able to take on 2 large bottles of cranberry juice, and a large bottle of V8 juice on my 11-2012 Triumph cruise. I told the lady that I had a bladder infection, and needed to drink 2 large glasses of cranberry juice each day, and I needed to drink 2 large glasses of V8 each day for my diet. No problems getting them onboard.
