jcanino Posted June 21, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2005 How can you tell which are the gov't approved taxi's? Do they have special markings on them? TIA Look for the JUTA taxis. JUTA stands for Jamaica Union of Travelers Association. It is the largest taxi service in Jamaica but any taxi bearing red Public Passenger Vehicle (PPV) plates is regulated.
