Transportation for large group from MSY to hotel

Our group of 12 will be arriving at NOLA airport at the same time and would like to get a transfer to our hotel together (Hampton Inn on St Charles). Does anyone know how much this would cost or where I could even find information on how to book and with which company? Everywhere I look says the best method is via taxi for $14/person but I imagine we would need to take 3 seperate taxis to fit everyone and our luggage. My sister would prefer for all of us to get one 15 passenger van or similar instead.

 

Is this even possible and if so is the price comparable to the set taxi fare or are we better off just taking the taxis?

There is a group of 10 of arriving at the same time in January. I've asked for some quotes from shuttle companies and so far, it is more economical to take a cab with 3-4 people per cab. If we had 15 people we'd be looking at the private shuttle options.
