Help Needed--Whittier to Anchorage with Luggage...

arriving on the Island Princess in Whittier. Flight out isnt until 7:30 pm (the UA Chicago flight..). I would like to go to downtown, leave baggage somewhere, then take a taxi to the airport around 500pm.

 

Does anyone know if Princess still has that "hospitality centre" in Egan and would they store the bags if I arrived using the Princess transfer? (I assume they wouldnt be happy to see me if I used another company's transfer...)

 

Or I could go to the airport--store the bags--then go back to downtown for the afternoon. That is less desirable as I waste time...

 

If I dont use Princess--any other companies someone might recommend? thanks for any advice--steve

I'm on the Coral Princess, arriving Whittier 6/12. I booked w/Alaskatransportation, For $38/pp they p/u @ the ship & drop you in Anchorage including wildlife viewing & siteseeing along the way. This is a 1/2 day tour/shuttle. They also offer a full day tour/shuttle. Google whittier to anchorage shuttles & a couple of differenent companies will show.This may be an option to the Princess transfer for you.Enjoy your trip!
