whats the best way to spend 1p-8p in port?

We're in port from 1p-8p which is unusual for use. I definitely want to spend time at a beach but given the time we're there it will be afternoon beach time... I also wouldn't mind seeing some of Aruba on the way back.

Suggestions for best beaches and will it be ok to do this during the afternoon?

Suggestions for best stop/tour and will shops still be open this late?

after looking through the boards a little more I think I answered my questions but I have new questions...

 

Trikes... is it possible to spend a couple hours on eagle beach and then do a trike tour in the afternoon. How long does a trike tour last? Is it independent or are you in a group.

 

Oceanfront restaurant... I like passions and Barefoot but they are to pricey. Suggestions for less expensive beach front dining?
