scubagirrl Posted June 21, 2013 #3 Share Posted June 21, 2013 Let me know what they say about cancellation for cruises. I just saw their site today and I'm thinking about the rum tour. If you are worried about cancellation, you can do it on your own. It's an easy walk from the port exit. https://www.facebook.com/#!/johnwatlings?hc_location=stream
rkj1969 Posted June 22, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted June 22, 2013 (edited) We're booked for the Rum Tour! The Facebook pics look like great fun! The instructions they sent just say to call if you need to cancel within 48 hours - but you wouldn't be out anything as you just pay cash to the guide at the start of the tour! Really looking forward to it -- doing it on our own was our second option, but I think it will be much more fun to hear all the pirate stories... bowsah13 Posted July 3, 2013 #5 Share Posted July 3, 2013 I booked the rum runner tour as well. Great reviews on trip advisor. And I asked on fb about cancellation and got a quick response. Same as above, can reserve without paying. Looking forward to some history and samples. :)

tikib Posted July 20, 2013 #10 Share Posted July 20, 2013 We did the rum tour independently. It was free. Just a short walk up to the distillery and get a great tour and samples. https://www.facebook.com/johnwatlings

silvercrikhix Posted October 30, 2013 #12 Share Posted October 30, 2013 I know this is an old thread...but I just wanted to point out that the Islandz Tours "Rum Runners Passage Tour" is NOT the same as going to John Watlings distillery tour! JW Distillery tour is on the itinerary for IT's tour, but you also go to 3-4 other places for other rum infused food & beverages! I am about to book it....I will come back and leave a review on IT's tour :D
Ilove6dogs Posted November 25, 2013 #13 Share Posted November 25, 2013 Thinking about booking the Rum Runners Passage tour anyone that has gone on it please let me know. We will be in Nassau next Thursday.
bowsah13 Posted December 4, 2013 #14 Share Posted December 4, 2013 This tour was fantastic. I posted a review on trip advisor. Maria presented a wealth of information and took time to answer our questions. You get quite a bit of rum as well. Worth the money for sure!
