Psychedout Posted June 14, 2013 #5 Share Posted June 14, 2013 my wife Sorry Tracy I meant the actual tour company and what ship. I lived in New England for over 30 years. I have been all over the place and did a NE/Canada Cruise. I never heard of a Colonial American cruise tour. Sorry:o Hugh

One is called Historic America, the other Maple Explorer. These are for Oct. 2014. If it posts, here's one of them. http://www.princess.com/find/cruiseDetails.do?voyageCode=R441&itinCode=NQF1204N02B&tourCode=T4N02B&trade=N&date=1014&noOfPax=2&resType=T&ship=&bID=PCDIR&meta=I&ppax=false&itinPort=&tourIds=&duration=&tourdur=&orderBy=&filterBy=&order= And this is the other. http://www.princess.com/find/cruiseDetails.do?voyageCode=1433&itinCode=NNR0704N01A&tourCode=T4N01A&trade=N&date=1014&noOfPax=2&resType=T&ship=&bID=PCDIR&meta=I&ppax=false&itinPort=&tourIds=&duration=&tourdur=&orderBy=&filterBy=&order=
hobo1937 Posted June 14, 2013 #7 Share Posted June 14, 2013 We met a couple recently at a meet and greet who had done the Colonial America cruisetour and said they really enjoyed it....we did the Maple Explorer last fall and it was fantastic. Pam in CA Posted June 14, 2013 #8 Share Posted June 14, 2013 These cruise tours are interesting but IMHO, the dates should be reversed. The late October tour means that most years, fall foliage will be well past peak. Peak in Canada and northern New England is usually around the 2nd week of October. Plus, it'll start getting cold. I'd prefer to do the northern tour earlier and the southern tour later. Here's an excellent guide to New England fall foliage and tours from Yankee Magazine: http://www.yankeefoliage.com/peak-foliage-forecast-map/
