pwrchick Posted June 24, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2005 My sister ( who is an avid scrapbooker) told me this. She cruised on RCI last year and got a "fact sheet" at one of the information desks. She said it was not just out and available, you had to ask for it. It had info like the size of the ship and other "trivia" sorts of things like how many eggs are used a day, how many gallons of water a day, etc. I had not see this before....thought others might be interested..... kaseyoz Posted October 28, 2007 #6 Share Posted October 28, 2007 they handed this out after the galley tour on the sapphire princess, so maybe go on that tour as well. some amazing facts on there and well worthy of using on a scrapbook page. A bit off topic, but i have just finished an A to Z of cruising scrapbook and for "y" i used yacht and the large photo of the sapphire princess you get on board. everyone has smiled at that

kaseyoz Posted October 31, 2007 #8 Share Posted October 31, 2007 It is a great idea to combine a couple of cruises into one album. I used a take on the mastercard ad for the first page and a formal photos eg, x amount of cruises x amount of ports x amount of days family bonding time priceless then auckland bon voyage (used our sailaway photos (had same top on all 4 cruises) christchurch NZ dunedin NZ emerald bay formal grand turk half moon cay isle of pines joining in..hard to find something, used photos of dressup nights kids island children life vests used photos of different ships life vests mystrey island noumea opulence atrium of sapphire princess pool sapphire princess pool pics quiet, photo of my feet looking out to sea rotarua NZ stingrays towel animals unforgettable pic of our first cruise sailing under sydney harbour bridge vanuatu wala island stop x Roman numeral for 10 reasons we love cruising yacht pic of sapphire princess zzzzz no way too much to do fun photos of us doing stuff karaoke etc last page says this may be the end of the book but not the end of our crusing enjoyed this project immensly as it got a couplefo cruises done in one book. lhc2266 Posted November 2, 2007 #11 Share Posted November 2, 2007 Great idea for a cruise scrapbook. I occasionally get stuck on my vacation pages, and if I did it like that, it would be a jump point for a title or a particular set of photos. May have to try this next.
