Tender in or Dock in Rotan

Was just wondering if they dock in Rotan or if this is a tender port. I think I have read somewhere that this port is sometimes missed due to weather. Any help with these questions would be appreciated.

What ship are you arriving on?

 

I know the larger Carnival ships have trouble docking at Mahogany Bay on windy days, as the channel they dredged is quite narrow.

 

If it is too windy they just cancel the stop and move on to the next port.

(I've read about the Dream Capt. trying to dock for 90 minutes before finally giving up.)

 

Haven't docked at Coxen Hole yet. (coming in April)

Coxen is never a problem. If you are on Carnival and they cannot dock at Mahogany, they will use Coxen IF there is no ship there.
