Entertainment during the day

We are going on the Sapphire in October and I was wondering about the day time activities. Are there movies on the ship during the day? How about shows like a comedian or live entertainment? What do most people do during the day?

There are more things scheduled for you to do than you could possibly attend. You will receive a schedule of events each night for the next day. We take a hi-liter so we can mark the things we want to do so we won't miss one. There could be: aerobics classes, card games, demos' such as cooking, seminars maybe on buying gem stones, art auctions, basketball, ping pong, trivia games, dance classes, port talks, and don't forget just lying out by the pool in the sun listening to the pool band. These are just a very few of things offered but I hope you get the idea. Oh yes there is always the option of going ashore in the various ports.

Yes, there are typically movies every day and if it's a sea day, the casino and shops are open. There are also classes on digital photography and computers, and sometimes ceramics. Also a wine tasting or two, plus afternoon tea. The internet cafe is also available. I've never seen live entertainment like singing, dancing, and comedy during the daytime.

What I do during the day on a sea day? You will probably find me sitting in the shade on the Promenade deck watching the ocean go by.
