Junkanoo Expo - does it still exist

I last minute booked a cruise that stops in Nassau. I am looking for something different for myself and my 17 yo daughter - we are in port noon - midnight on a Saturday.

 

Samantha Brown visited the Junkanoo Expo Museum on one of her cruise shows. It looked small but interesting. When I googled it, the information I found is at least a year old. If it does still exist is it a safe walk?

 

I am open to other ideas - this will be the 6th time we have stopped in Nassau - in the past we have done Atlantis, Blue Lagoon (including Dolphin Swim), and a "tour" via bus of the island. We will be back two weeks later off a different ship and already have booked a private snorkel trip with Bahama Boat Tours.

 

I considered a day pass but we will hopefully be spending on Coco Cay.
