I am traveling on this sail date and would love to meet other gay or bi travelers who may be on board. Would also love to know what areas on ship are "gay" areas. Hope the spa would be a good place as well. thanks

I'll be cruising now too! The spa on Breakaway is all mixed gender and the price for a week pass to the Thermal Suite is $199 now, which is crazy. They usually hold nightly lgbt meet-ups at a bar, so that might be your best bet for a "gay area."

Welcome! I'm sailing with my parents this time as my partner has conflicting business travel during the cruise.

 

Hope to meet you both onboard! It looks like in the past, the Breakaway has held nightly LGBT gatherings at 8pm - see you there!

Very nice... sorry your partner was not going to go with you... have you cruised from NYC before? It will be our first time.

 

I saw that the meetings are at 8 pm... we would usually have some reservations around that time... but will try to attend some of them...

 

have you cruised NCL before? We have and really enjoy it.

Haha, yes this will be my 6th NCL sailing and I enjoy Norwegian, but am tired of the same MDR menus on every cruise! I love Bermuda though and my parents have never been!

I will try my best to attend the 8pm meetings, but trying to juggle show reservations, some of which may start at 7:15pm.

 

The general consensus is that the Epic spa is much better than Breakaway and I agree. The weekly pass price increase is also hard to stomach with worse facilities, but I guess people are still paying it!
