Insignia 7021

Looking at Historic Holy Lands for June. Has anyone been in this cabin? I love the idea of a larger veranda but wonder if not having open rails will be an issue.

Does anyone have a pic of these verandas?

7021 does not have a larger veranda, so I believe that you must be referring to 7121.

We once had an Aunt who stayed in 7116 (identical to 7121)when we were in the adjoining Suite and her veranda was much deeper than that of a standard cabin, but exactly the same width.

012654.jpg210845.jpg as you have noted, the railing bulkhead on the aft (and forward) facing staterooms on "the R Ships" are solid metal, rather than true railings, and there may be an issue where some adults are not tall enough to see over them while seated. The photograph above is shown to represent those solid railings and was taken in a Vista Suite.

Those aft stateroom verandas are much more sheltered than most, although the Owners Suites are also open to the side and benefit from the blessings of cross ventilation.

You may find the veranda of 7121 too warm for late afternoons in Port, particularly if the sun is hitting it, but out on the Ocean , or as a photo platform, you will ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!
