Marseilles or Cassis or Aix or Luberon or Les Baux in 7.5 hours

Help.

We have a potential guide who will not travel the route to Les Baux and Arles, etc. because she claims that being the end of the summer holiday, the return route will be very busy.

She has suggested Aix en Provence, or Aix and Cassis, or Cassis and Marseilles, or Luveron.

We would have 7.5 hours for one of these routes. She would cost around $95 per person,

The ship has a 4.5 hour trek to Les Baux, with 2.5 hours traveling and 2 hours in Les Baux

at $60 per person.

What would you do if you had this choice to make for 6 people? My wife has also suggested winging it here as we have day tours in all of the other 6 ports.

Thanks for your advice.

We went on a 5 hr ship excursion to cassis. It was only about $50 per person. We took a boat ride through the calanques, walked the town, had some crepes and pastries. It was lovely. Low key, not exhausting, beautiful and inexpensive
