Am going out on VOS August 12 and will be driving up Thursday from PA on I-80

Will drive almost whole way but dont want to do into Newark just several miles before port Will get up in morning and drive rest of the few miles even 20 to 25 miles out of port anyone have any suggestions of a town to stay in Thanks

We are on the same cruise as you. We are flying in from Arizona on 8/11 and staying in Elizabeth. After some research, this hotel seemed to meet all our needs.

Short Hills is about 15 miles from the port.

Try a search in Expedia under Secaucus, NJ. Many hotels in all price ranges, near the Meadowlands Sports Complex, easy highway access. Fairly close to the port. If you want a fantastic view of the Manhattan skyline, consider the Sheraton Suites in Weehawken.
