bhami Posted July 4, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 4, 2005 After returning a rental car, will they shuttle you to the cruise pier?
spleen93 Posted July 4, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 4, 2005 Depends on the car rental agency. In general, no. Enterprise may. If you're booking through the cruise line, they may. Best to talk to the rental car agency (local number, not the national number) to find out for sure. Spleen
Doeymeister Posted July 4, 2005 #3 Share Posted July 4, 2005 Alamo runs an hourly shuttle to the pier from 1-6PM from their Ala Moana location. I called that location and confirmed it yesterday.
donna@donnaanderson.com Posted July 4, 2005 #4 Share Posted July 4, 2005 If you are booking through NCL and are doing the pre stay at the Marriott or the Radisson; you can book with Hertz since the Marriott (Waikiki) has a desk there, or you can walk to it from the Radisson to get and return your car; then you can get transfers automatically with your package to the pier. Hertz is more expensive though. We have a mustang convertible and with all charges is almost $100 per day (we are using American Experess reward coupons). Good luck. ERAMP76 Posted July 5, 2005 #5 Share Posted July 5, 2005 We used Thrifty. They shuttled us to & from the pier (We rented pre-cruise & post-cruise). You should probably e-mail or call to confirm with whoever you are using.
waltcoleman Posted July 5, 2005 #6 Share Posted July 5, 2005 We rented with Budget. Pickup at the airport and drop-off at the Waikiki location across the street from the Renaissance hotel. Worked like a charm and they have a courtesy van ride (with all our luggage) to the pier. They seem well versed in dealing with cruisers. As mentioned previously, I'd call and confirm.
