Trebor Posted July 5, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2005 I'm planning an exstended weekend in Bermuda near the end of Aug. I have a few questions I hope someone can answer. Is it hurricane season at that time? How long is the travel by scooter with two people on it from either end of the islands? Is there any one nice economical place to stay central to most of the best snorkeling? Average meal price? Can scooters go on most ferries? Have I asked enough questions? Thanks, Treb. bruce-r Posted July 5, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 5, 2005 Hurricane season is from as early as July to November, and this year promises to be a banner year for hurricanes.
cal2632 Posted July 6, 2005 #3 Share Posted July 6, 2005 Most hurricanes pass between Bermuda and the US coast line. I think they've only been hit by one in the last 50 years or so. Bermudatourism.com is a good site to go to do research & get answers for your questions.
