I was thinking of booking The Palms South Beach for a couple of days post cruise (May '06). Has anyone stayed there? Is the hotel clean? Would love to hear anything about this hotel. Thanks.

I stayed there once, never again. Rude staff, ridiculously small bathrooms, musty hallways. The $10 martinis weren't bad though ;) . This hotel will get you in the mood for your cruise, when you order from the bar or eat in their restaurant they automatically add the 18% gratuity. (beers poolside were $7.50 + gratuity)

 

This property looks glamorous and luxurious on their web site, NOT! I got stuck with this 3* property bidding on Priceline for $69.00 a night. Never again.:mad:

Well then! I was thinking of staying here in nov. pre cruise but now I dont think I am!! I stayed at the South Beach Marriott last year and it was GREAT!! I may end up there again because its top notch..
