OceanBlue123 Posted September 19, 2013 #51 Share Posted September 19, 2013 No loungers where? There are a total of 5 public sun decks on Breakaway (pool lower, pool upper, Spice H20, Freestyle deck 18, FWD deck 17). Did you try all of those places? A wise person said- "Disclaimers: These are my experiences only. Others may have had different experiences and perhaps NCL has tweaked things based on passenger feedback. "Our sailing was well below maximum capacity, which likely (positively) impacted the level of service and our experience. There were also only a few hundred kids on board, which contrasts greatly with the summer sailings with upwards of 1,200. We also stayed in The Haven and were able to escape the masses, when needed." Why do you 1%'s staying in the Haven think you have a clue about the issues the other 99% of us have to deal with? Just the fact that you had to "escape the masses, when needed" on a ship close to 1,000 passengers below summer capacity should prove how bad the crowds can be. If you prefer a more exclusive experience, I'd highly suggest you book The Haven or a luxury line with fewer passengers. The majority of my time was spent outside of The Haven, so it is not true that I had no experience with the other parts of the ship. Unfortunately, there is not a spa, gym, casino, nightclub, buffet, ropes course, waterslide, etc. in The Haven.
