Jozy92 Posted September 17, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2013 We are a large group visiting Labadee on a January Cruise via Oasis. There are 7 kids, (ages 3 -10) and 8 adults. We are wanting to get two Cabana's at Nellies Beach. Would you recommend a Beach or Over the water Cabana ? Which one would be better for the kids? Thanks for your help :)
flowers44 Posted September 17, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2013 Several of the "Over the Water" Cabanas on Nellies have ladder or step access to the water. Might be a problem with the younger children. Cabana 9 & 10 are handicap accessible with a ramp going down to the water but you can not guarantee that you will be assigned those two. The Beach Cabanas are surrounding by a wall and contained. They are about 100' from the water's edge and might be easier to keep track of the little ones. I would say to go for the Beach Cabanas. flyingv4me Posted September 18, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 18, 2013 I think the cabanas have a max capacity of six people each, so your party of fifteen might be an issue. I would recommend you check with the cruise line when booking. Grab three and you're good!
