Courtyard Marriott Downtown Miami

Has anyone ever stayed here? I got the room for $55 on Priceline for 1/7/06. It appears to be a nice hotel. Not looking for anything fabulous - we get in at 8pm so only need somewhere to eat and sleep.

We stayed in this hotel in January of this year and were very pleased. They have a very nice lobby area with a beautiful salt water aquarium. There was even a promotion going on at the time with an ouside restaurant at South Beach. A limo picked us up at the hotel and took us to South Beach where we have a very nice dinner and walked around for a while then the limo came back and got us. The limo service was free with the dinner. For the price you definitely can't complain!

I just had a successful bid on Priceline for a pre-cruise night at the Courtyard By Marriott Miami Downtown for $46. Does anyone know anything about it other than what's written above? Is it close to anything? What will a taxi cost us from the airport to the hotel and then from the hotel to the port the next morning? Thanks in advance! :)
