Liberty cabin question

We are booked in cabin 6442 on the Liberty Jan 18, 2014. Just found out that cabin 7439 is available for $40 more. We are above the Victorian aft lounge on deck 6 and were wondering if the change would be worth it in case of noise from below. Thanks for any info.

I would definitely move to 7439 if it's only a $40 difference. I've been in that cabin on a sister ship and it was great!!! I believe you will enjoy it. Have a fabulous cruise.:D

I would change my cabin too. you hear a lot of noise on deck 6 above the lounges

Definitely move! Just got off the Liberty and they hold the Punchliner Comedy Club in the Victoria aft lounge. On nights they don't have the comedy club, they have karaoke. Move to deck 7.

 

BTW, we were aft on deck 8 and loved it!!!!!

We were starboard on deck 6 from the first aft-facing cabin all the way around to the L shaped cabin (including the wrap). We did not hear any noise but my parent's neighbor next to them and all the way around port side to the L-shaped cabins heard music and noise from the lounge below every night.

 

If you are starboard you won't hear it, if you are port, you will hear it, so I suggest you move ASAP!

We recently stayed in 7440 ( aft wrap) on the Liberty and NEVER heard any noise from below

Thanks everyone for the info. We called our TA and we will find out if we can get that cabin tomorrow. We are sooo looking forward to this cruise.

We are not able to get that cabin. It was taken as ofd this morning. The cabin next to it is available(7435) Same sq footage just a little smaller balcony. What are your thoughts.

How did cabin and possible noise work out???
