Suggestions activities after Trike Tour?

We are booked on an AM trike tour in Aruba on our Celebrity Christmas cruise. The tour starts at 9:00 am and should last about 3 1/2 hours.

As Aruba will be our first stop on our Caribbean cruise, we probably will have lots more opportunities of beach time.

So we are looking for things to do in the afternoon, until the ship leaves at 8:00 pm. Would you suggest taking a taxi back to Oranjestad and walk around the town? Or are there any other suggestions?

Thanks.

When we did the Trike tour this last April, afterwards we walked over to Bugaloe. http://www.bugaloe.com/ it is a nice little restaurant/bar on the beach. We have a terrific lunch with some cocktails then later took a cab back to the ship. It made for a wonderful day.

We're booked for the tour next month. How long is the cab ride to the port?

Thanks

Pat

A short walk from the trikes is Palm Beach, Hotels, casino, lots of restaurants and shopping. You will be a little hot, thirsty and hungry after the ride. I agree about the Bugaloe we loved it there but after the trikes we went to Gillegans st the Raddison. But you can also take a cab ride back to Oranjstad and the port. It is very easy to get around Aruba. Before you return the trikes you will be cruising through Oranjstad so get your cruise buddies Jealous as you cruise by.
