Car or Jeep Rental

i have been here a few times but have no info on renting a car-jeep.. we plan on doing are own thing...could someone with personal experience steer me in the right direction to rent a vehicle.. we are cruising on the dream so i think we are docking at Puerta Maya.. any recommendations would be great thanks

My husband and I rented a Jeep from Less Pay. The Jeep we got was older, but it ran fine and we had a great time! If I remember right, it was around $50 and that included insurance. We had printed a coupon from their website. I haven't visited their site lately, so I'm not sure they still have the coupon. That rental place is at the Baracuda Hotel, and close to the Punta Langosta cruise terminal. We walked from there. There is also one close to the Puerta Maya terminal, called Ernesto's that we looked at. It would depend on which cruise terminal that we docked at on which one we would use. Those two are a lot cheaper than the chain rental agencies.
