Sparkygirl Posted October 16, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2013 My 97 year old grandma has expressed and interest in cruising. We are looking at the Pearl in a Haven suite. Does the Pearl have its own restaurant right by the Haven? We are looking to minimize how much she needs to walk around the ship. khaide612 Posted October 16, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2013 Cagney's is one floor below the Haven - accessible by elevator or stairs.
WaldosPepper Posted October 16, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 16, 2013 The Haven on the Jewel Class ships (including the Pearl) do not have a full-fledged restaurant inside. However, there is a very nice dining area which is attended by the Haven Valet. You would be able to easily have your breakfast and lunch there, and you may order whatever you like, including anything on the Cagney's breakfast or lunch menu. You will receive excellent service there, and your meals will arrive fresh and hot. It's a wonderful perk. You can also have your Butler serve dinner either in your suite or inside the Haven. The Haven will also offer her the ability to enjoy indoor space if the weather is poor, or use the balcony or upper sundeck if she really wants to see all the sights and enjoy the outdoors. Kingmaker_inc Posted October 16, 2013 #4 Share Posted October 16, 2013 Agree with everything posted above, and can confirm that The Haven is a great choice for your grandma. She can camp out in the courtyard, and have a very pleasant cruise experience.
