New Orleans - Carry On Luggage Question

Hopefully someone has an answer: is there anywhere where one can temporarily store carry on? We want to dash to Cafe du Monde before our cruise but don't really want to schlep the carry ons on the trolley through the Quarter.

Your hotel may hold them for you, if this is a concern just go early. It is easier to get in and out and there are usually less people at around 7 am.

That would be a great idea but we're coming in Saturday morning which is why I'm trying to find somewhere to stash the carry-ons.

Are you driving, and is your cruise leaving that Saturday?

If you drive into town you could just leave your carryon in the car after you check your bags.

No luggage on the trolleys anyway. Maybe briefcase size, but not role aboards.

If your going to walk, it's best just to take them with you if they are that small.

No, we are flying very early Saturday and not driving. We have about four hours to hightail it to Cafe Du Monde. The moonwalk with carry-ons does not sound like much fun. I think we may have a volunteer in the group to sit with the bags at the Carnival terminal.

Your hotel is your best bet.

 

Café du Monde is somewhat overrated. If it's what you prefer that's great, but you might try http://www.cafebeignet.com/ Café Beignet. Dealing with the pigeons at Café du Monde isn't always fun.

Cafe' Beignet is what I always recommend too. Fewer crowds, birds, noise etc. Good beignets.
