Can we make a 12:55 flight at MSY?

I have found some great rates and want to book today! Is it safe to be on a 12:55 flight? We would be on the carnival Sunshine. I am guessing all boats have up off them early.

Is the airport only about 30 minutes away?

Thank You- I found some more post on here that said the same thing so I have booked the flight. Now to book the cruise!

We always get off the ship first, so as long as the ship arrives on time, we should be fine, I think. The next flight leaves at 1.15pm and we're only flying over to Houston, didn't want to spend all day at the airport. What do you think?
