What to do with our luggage in Sydney?

We arrive in Sydney in the morning of Sun 22 Dec and fly to Brisbane at 5pm. Very happy to spend the day in Sydney I'm sure we'll find lots to do. My question is, what do we do with our luggage? Don't fancy dragging it with us, even the carry on stuff will be a pain. Is there anywhere convenient that we can access to store bags for the day?
