Glory vs. Conquest?

Looking to plan our next cruise and we are looking at either the Glory or Conquest...both have same ports and price is within 30 bucks...so it boils down to the ship! So give me your best opinions on those two ships!!

I have not sailed Conquest, but I have sailed on Glory. It was a nice ship (though I still prefer Liberty, of that class).

 

From what I've gathered, only real difference is Conquest has no Serenity Deck. Conquest is one year older than Glory. Decor is a little different, though essentially the same. I haven't sailed with either of the CDs that will be staffed when you cruise.

I am interested too. We have decided pretty much for Glory, since it starts and ends on a saturday. It will give my daughter 2 days to get home for school starting after Christmas break instead of one. But we are not booked and open to either.

The Saturday to Saturday schedule may be better....glad to hear that there is not much difference!

Serenity is a BIG difference many people. I know I spend time every single day up on the Serenity deck.

Having sailed both this year I feel like the Conquest was a better ship. I thought the food in the MDR was prepared better and I also thought the drink service on the Lido was a lot faster and there were more servers. However, my wife and I both preferred the Glory's décor.

 

Have fun on your cruise. The ship will not determine the successfulness of your vacation. That will be entirely up to you :)
